Getting started with Torra

Creating your account

Registration takes a couple of minutes. You provide your name, email address, phone number, and a password, then confirm your email before signing in.

• Go to the registration page and fill in your details. Torra operates in Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana, so pick your country during signup.
• Torra sends a verification code to your email. Enter it on the verification screen to activate your account.
• Phone numbers are verified by OTP (one-time password) sent via SMS, so use a number you can receive messages on.
• Once verified, sign in with your email and password from any device.

Signing in and recovering access

Torra uses secure, token-based authentication. Your session stays active across pages without re-entering your password.

• Sign in from the login page with the email and password you registered with.
• Forgot your password? Use the forgot-password link to receive a reset email, then choose a new password.
• If an administrator flags your account for a password change, you'll be prompted to set a new password before continuing.

Your profile and settings

Your profile is the public face of your account and the hub for account management.

• Edit your display name, photo, and contact details from the profile page.
• Manage your active subscription from the subscription page inside your profile.
• Account preferences, including notification options, live under settings.

Finding your way around

Torra is organised into four marketplaces, each with its own browsing experience, categories, and seller tools.

• Marketplace — buy and sell physical products.
• Services — find and hire contractors and service providers.
• Real Estate — browse properties for sale or rent and book viewings.
• Vehicle Rentals — rent cars and other vehicles from local providers.

How to do it, step by step

1. 1Create an account: click “Get Started” in the top-right of the header, fill in the registration form, then enter the verification code Torra emails you.
2. 2Sign in: click “Log in” in the header and enter your email and password.
3. 3Recover access: on the login page, click the “Forgot password?” link below the password field and follow the reset email.
4. 4Switch marketplaces: use the main navigation tabs — “Marketplace”, “Services & Contractors”, “Real Estate”, and “Vehicle Rentals”.
5. 5Open your profile: click your avatar in the header and choose “Profile Settings” from the dropdown.
6. 6Check messages or saved items: use the “Messages” and wishlist (heart) icons in the header — the wishlist dropdown has an “Open wishlist” link to the full page.
