Subscriptions, pricing, and promo codes

Sellers on Torra subscribe to a plan for each marketplace vertical they sell in. Tiers control listing limits and visibility perks like featured placement.

The tiers

Each vertical — Marketplace, Services, Real Estate, Vehicle Rentals — offers three tiers.

  • Bronze — the entry tier for getting started with a basic listing allowance.
  • Silver — more listings and stronger visibility for growing sellers.
  • Gold — the highest listing limits plus featured placement in browsing and search.
  • Current prices per tier and vertical are on the pricing page, in your local currency.

Choosing and managing a plan

You pick a plan during seller onboarding and can change it later.

  • Select a tier for each seller path during onboarding; payment runs through Paystack checkout.
  • Manage, upgrade, or renew your plan from the subscription page in your profile.
  • Each vertical has its own subscription — selling in two marketplaces means two plans.

Promo codes

Torra runs promotional codes that discount or unlock onboarding offers. The pricing page's “Promo codes at sign-up” section explains current campaigns.

  • Enter a promo code during seller onboarding where prompted — codes are optional.
  • Each code has its own terms, validity window, and may be deactivated when a campaign ends.
  • A code that fails to apply is usually expired or inactive — check the spelling and try again.

How to choose and change plans, step by step

Where the tiers live in the interface and how to act on them.

  1. 1Compare tiers: open the pricing page and switch between the four verticals to see Bronze, Silver, and Gold prices for each.
  2. 2Subscribe: use the join button for your vertical at the bottom of the pricing page (e.g. “Join as a Seller”, “Join as a Service Provider”), which routes you into onboarding's Plans step.
  3. 3Apply a promo code: enter it in the promo field on the Plans step before paying.
  4. 4Change or renew a plan: click your avatar → “Profile Settings”, open the subscription page, and pick the new tier — payment runs through Paystack checkout.

Frequently asked questions

Do buyers need a subscription?

No. Subscriptions apply to sellers and providers only. Buying, browsing, and messaging are free.

Can I switch tiers later?

Yes. Manage your plan from your profile's subscription page; upgrades take effect on payment.

What happens if my subscription lapses?

Your listings lose the benefits of the tier (such as featured placement) and listing capacity reverts. Renew from the subscription page to restore them.
